Five dimensions, one home.
Stapha's view
Verified — based on our interview with leadershipWellbeing shows up as fair rotas — no split shifts, four-week rota published a month ahead, and swaps go through a WhatsApp channel the manager actually reads. Leadership is in a transition: the long-standing manager retired in April and the new one is still building trust with the senior team. Worth revisiting in six months.
One thing we're proud of
“The rota. It's boring to say, but it's the reason people stay. You know your Christmas by August.”

Something we don't get right yet…
Formal supervisions have slipped since the manager change. We're rebuilding those, honestly.

Been here through two managers. The rota discipline has never wavered and that's why I'm still here despite the wobbles this year.

I like my colleagues and I like the residents. Leadership feels a bit absent since the change — supervisions haven't happened in months. Hoping that resets.
Thanks for saying it here as well as in the survey. Supervisions relaunch in November on a fixed monthly cycle, yours is booked.

Night Carer

Nights are peaceful and the pay for nights is fair for the area. Same core team for years — feels like family.

Really flexible with school runs. I couldn't do this job anywhere else that would let me start at 9:15.

Small budget but a lot of goodwill. The residents love the seaside walks, we do one every fortnight when the weather holds.
